Geoff graduated from the University of Akron School of Law in 1988.  He immediately established a practice in the Akron area.  Geoff’s practice takes him over the entire State of Ohio.  Over the course of more than 25 years, Geoff has represented individuals and/or businesses in most counties in the State of Ohio.

In 1992, Geoff joined with Tom Semple to form Semple & Eicher.  Geoff’s practice is focused on professional negligence litigation, injury litigation, business matters, and business litigation.  Geoff’s corporate client list is diverse with regard to size and industry.  During his career, Geoff has helped hundreds of individuals/families with claims involving legal malpractice, medical malpractice, and serious injury cases.  He has also helped many business clients with the sale or purchase of businesses, mergers, contract negotiations, contract disputes, general corporate planning, and litigation involving the prosecution or defense of claims by or against his clients.

Geoff has earned the respect of his peers.  A significant percentage of his clients are referred by attorneys from other firms who either lack the expertise to handle the client’s legal matter or who want the guidance and experience that can only be had through 25 plus years of handling very significant legal matters.

Geoff is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Akron Bar Association, and the Ohio Association for Justice.  Geoff has been asked to serve on various committees for the Akron Bar Association and currently assists as a member of the Akron Bar Association Investigative Subcommittee which investigates allegations of misconduct and/or unethical conduct involving attorneys.  Geoff is also the current president of the Summit County Trial Lawyers Association.  Geoff is frequently asked to speak to members of the legal community with regard to the issues of professional negligence, insurance law, injury law, trial preparation and trial advocacy.
